Staffordshire University’s radio station opens live in one week, for the 1st time it will be linked with Stafford campus.
It enables the station to benefit from the technical teams in Stafford to run the studio and the arts and media side of Stoke for the presenters. The station allows students a one to two hour slot for them to show off their talents live on air for all Staffordshire university students to listen on the union website. The GK radio will be closely linked with the GK newspaper now with the offices now adjacent to each other; therefore they can share stories and give the students a better knowledge of what is happening in and around campus. For the 1st time the radio shows will be filmed an aired on the internet so listens can not only listen but watch the action and mayhem of the busy radio station.
